No. Ragdoll kittens are born almost white and their colour points develop gradually over the first weeks. Their full adult colour can take two to three years to come in.

Ragdolls are one of the larger domestic breeds and mature slowly — many keep growing until they are three or four years old. Males are usually larger than females.

No cat breed is truly hypoallergenic. Ragdolls produce the same allergens as other cats, so anyone with allergies should spend time with cats before committing to a kitten.

Not completely. Our personality notes describe what we see day to day, but every kitten keeps developing after going home. We are always happy to talk through which kitten might suit your household.

Less than many long-haired breeds. Their silky coat has little undercoat, so combing once or twice a week — more during seasonal shedding — usually keeps it tangle-free.

To apply for a kitten, simply fill out the form on this page. I do my best to review every application carefully.

If you are chosen to adopt one of my kittens, you will hear back within 3 days of the application closing date. Unfortunately, due to the volume of applicants (usually around 200), I will not be able to respond to the applicants that were not chosen. If you don’t receive an email from me within 3 days of the application closing, then your application was not selected. Check your spam folders as well, because I have had my emails go there before.

You can apply for one or as many kittens as you would like. Please note that your application will only be considered for the selected kittens you are interested in. If you want to increase your odds of being selected, then I recommend applying for multiple kittens.

If you’re application is selected, all of the next steps will be explained over email including how to confirm your kitten reservation and go home date.
